Important Issues
in Utah
“A place as special as Utah needs to be protected. Let’s talk about real issues facing our state.”

The Biden Administration has created an immigration crisis that has made every state a border state. As Attorney General, I will work with Utah’s federal delegation and other Attorneys General to protect our border and create lasting solutions.

Local citizens know their communities best. As Attorney General, I will offer state resources to local and county elected officials to ensure Utah remains a safe place to live and raise a family.

Enjoying the fruits of our labor is the principle that drives our free-market economy. Our parents and grandparents are being targeted by criminals intent on defrauding seniors and robbing them of their hard-earned money. As your Attorney General, I will work tirelessly with community, government, and religious organizations at state and federal levels to fight this predatory behavior.

The federal government owns over 66% of land within Utah’s borders. Utahns – especially those in rural economies – are hurt by dysfunctional Washington policies that prevent much-needed rights of way and decrease income streams for schools. As Attorney General, I will work with our federal delegation and state leaders to exhaust every legal tool in the fight for state sovereignty.

Utah’s energy independence is tied to its land use. If the federal government dictates the use of the land, it also dictates the economic opportunities of everyday Utahns. As Attorney General, I will push back on restrictive land-use policies. With innovation, we can maintain our quality of life and enjoy our land for generations to come.

As a mother of 13-year-old twins, I protect my children every day from the dangers of big tech and predators. Each Utah child deserves to have such a fierce advocate, and I will be that advocate as Attorney General. I have no conflicts preventing me from holding social media companies accountable under Utah law, and I will continue the work of relentlessly advocating for victims of abuse and trafficking through the Children’s Justice Center and Internet Crimes Against Children division.
